Vietnam Tour Package 8 Days / 7 Nights

Day 1 Arrival Hanoi G/

Pick up at Noi Bai airport. Depart on tour to visit Hanoi with the following highlights:

  • Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside) & Residence, Ba Dinh Square, One Pilla Pagoda (located within Ho Chi Minh complex)
  • The Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. Constructed in 1070, the gardens and well‐ preserved architecture offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past.
  • The Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest of all pagodas in Hanoi located‐ beside the dazzling West Lake.
  • Drive back to central Hanoi for a walking tour through the Old Quarter to enjoy the bustling local life. This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It’s a great place to explore with plenty of photo opportunities all around you.
  • Followed by a traditional Water Puppet Performance – a unique Vietnamese art form hailing from Southeast Asia’s wet-rice culture

Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2            Hanoi – Halong by shuttle bus. Overnight on cruise G/B/L/D

Your morning departure from your hotel in Hanoi to Halong Bay takes you on a journey through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta. Observe everyday life of Vietnamese Villages as you see the villagers work the local rice fields, take live pigs to market on bicycles and plough the fields with their large water buffaloes.

Arrive in Halong and board a traditional sailing junk. As the vessel sets sails, you will be greeted by the Crew Team who will aim throughout your stay at providing you with the highest standards of service for a pure pleasure and utmost comfort onboard. Discover some of the treasures disseminated across the Bay of the Descending Dragon during the afternoon: fascinating caves, pristine beaches, picturesque floating villages, fantastic rock formations rising up out of emerald water. While onboard, you can take advantage at leisure of the cruise services; surrounded by a stunning setting in motion, you could attend our chef’s cooking demonstration and try your skills in the art of traditional Vietnamese cooking.

Defined to be one of the highlights of your stay, a highly refined, innovative and varied cuisine will be presented for Lunch and Dinner in the elegant dining‐room, accompanied by a wide selection of wines and beverages (with extra charge applied) for drink).

Day 3            Halong – Hanoi by shuttle bus G/B/BR/D

Early birds can attend a Tai Chi demonstration on the sundeck at the break of dawn. Start the day enjoying some delights with a light breakfast and follow by a colorful brunch. Continue exploring Halong Bay sailing across its 2000 islets and visiting some of its major highlights.

Check out cruise, get back to the habor and return to Hanoi.

Day 4            Hanoi – Danang by flight (airfare is excluded) – Marble mountain – Hoi An G/B/

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport to take the flight to Danang.

Pick up at Danang airport. Transfer to Hoi An ancient town. On the way, we stop to visit Marble Mountains – a cluster of five hills made from limestone and marble, Non Nuoc stone village where you can buy some product made of stone.

Continue to driving to Hoi An Ancient town. Upon arrival, stroll around the ancient town centre to visit some of former merchants’ houses, the 400 year–old Japanese Bridge, a Chinese communal hall, handicraftsman at work. Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, free time for shopping at Hoi An Ancient town and Hoi An market.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5            Hoi An – Bana Hills – Hoi An B/

Breakfast at hotel. This morning, we transfer you to visit Ba Na Hills.

Arrive at the Cable car station at the foot of Ba Na Mountain. Enjoy the first leg Cable car, which achieves two Guinness World Records in 2009, longest non-stop cable car (5,042m) and highest non-stop cable car (1,292m). Sitting in the cabin, in mid air, looking upon the endless tree line of the forests, bring you with spectacular views of the lush jungle and fairly waterfalls along the way. Experience pristine ecological systems of the Ba Na Mountains will leave you the sense of unforeseeable discovery.

Visit the Le Jardin, old wineries, remains of French Villas and Ling Ung Pagoda with 27m high Buddha status, Golden Bridge.

We then leave the Le Jardin for the second cable car station to visit the top of mountain and see the remain of old villas. Conquer the Peak of Chua Mountain at the height of 1,487m. View the whole Danang city under the cluster of white clouds.

Play plenty of games at Fantasy Park. (Entrance ticket to Bana includes most of indoor game at Fantasy park, Apline coaster, Funicular + Le Jardin D’Amour + Debay wine cellar. Entrance ticket excludes Wax Museum, cotton animal game and carnival skill at Fantasy Park.)

We return to Cable car station at foot of Ba Na Mountain then transfer back to Hoi An.

Day 6            Hoi An – Danang – Ho Chi Minh by flight (airfare is excluded) B/

Breakfast. Free & easy till time transfer to Danang airport to take the flight to Ho Chi Minh.

Pick up at Tan Son Nhat airport. Transfer to your hotel for check-in. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 7            Cu Chi underground tunnel – Half day city tour G/B/

After breakfast, guide and vehicle pick up clients from hotel lobby and enjoy the visit.

The Cu Chi Tunnels are an immense network of interconnected tunnels near Saigon that are part of a much larger network lying below much of the country. A guided visit to these tunnels provides a better understanding of their history, the hardship of life underground and the resilience of the Vietnamese during combat.

The tunnels were built and used initially by the Viet Cong guerrillas as hiding spots to protect them from the French air and ground sweeps. They later served as communication routes, storage facilities, hospitals and living quarters for the guerrilla fighters throughout the Vietnam‐ American war.

You’re invited to enter a section of the tunnels to witness the secrets of the tunnels firsthand. Your guide will also show you various mantraps employed from this period, the remains of an American tank and numerous B52 bomb craters. There is also the opportunity to fire an M60, M16 or AK47 rifle at the range next to the tunnel complex.

Return to Ho Chi Minh. In the afternoon, we start the city tour at the Reunification Palace, the witness of the fierce Vietnam War ended in 1975. The grand building today is a Museum and Hall of official receptions. Nearby the Palace are the colonial-styled Central Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877 and 1883 and one of the city’s major landmarks.  Have a walking tour on Nguyen Hue street to take the photos of the Opera House and the Ho Chi Minh Committee (outside). From here, walking to Ben Thanh Market one of the most typical symbol of Saigon to experience the daily life of the locals and do shopping the hand-made goods there.
